Tinky Pooh's Playhouse Playschool/ Parent ’s Day Out (PDO) Program. Our goal is to provide a loving Christ-centered environment for children, while offering parents a much needed break. Please read the information below carefully and call us if you have questions.
12 months through 5 years.
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM-12:30 PM

Tuesday & Wednesday- 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
& 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Drop off Time: As early as 8:30 a.m. Pick-up Time: We ask that you please be here promptly between 12:15-12:30 PM. Thank you.
2025 Dates: September 15th - January 3
2026 Dates: January 3 – May 26
We will not be open on Richmind County School holidays. Other exceptions may apply during the year.
We sometimes have a waiting list for each classroom/age group. If you know your child will not be here on any given day, PLEASE call to let us know: (910) 434-2954 By doing this, you are allowing another parent to enjoy our Parent’s Day Out Program. IMPORTANT: If you have more than 2 absences without notifying us, your regular spot may be forfeited and be given to someone from the waiting list.
REGISTRATION FEE: $100.00 (non-refundable) yearly supply fee. Registration fees are required to hold your child's space. Tuition payments are due one month in advance. August's tuition is due June 1st, then monthly September through August.
Declined payments will occur a $25 fee. All payments are considered late after the 10th of each month and will have a $20 late fee added to your tuition.

8:30am - 12:30pm
Additional children from the same family receives a sibling tuition discount of 10% off for the second child, & 15% off for 3rd or more children. With a discounted enrollment fee of $50 per child.
Additional Fees
A late fee of $5.00 for the first 15 minutes and a $1.00 per minute thereafter will be applied to your bill when a child is left in our care past our scheduled hours of operation.
Although it benefits children to experience the entire school curriculum, children may join a class any time during the school year (as long as space is available and your child is the approved age). Please do not hesitate to contact us with questions.
Daily activities for 2, 3, and 4-year-olds include a mix of free play, circle/story time, indoor playground time, and art. Please remember to bring socks for your children, our play areas are shoe free zones.
Please send a lunch/snack each day your child visits our Preschool/ Parents Morning Out Program. There will be no sharing of food between children. Please provide a ‘Sippy Cup’ for your child, if necessary.
Tinky Pooh's Playhouse will provide nutritious snacks to your child/children throughout the day.
❖ If you wish to bring in snacks for your child’s class for a special day (Christmas, birthday, etc.) please contact the Director at least two days in advance to check with allergy concerns. All special snacks must be store bought with allergen labels printed on the package.
We ask that you LABEL EVERYTHING, including diaper bags, sippy cups, bottles, pacifiers, and all other belongings. Please provide diapers, pacifiers, and other necessary items your child will need, along with any special instructions. Unless there is a necessary ‘comfort’ item that your child must have, please avoid bringing personal items or toys that may get lost or mixed in with items already in the room.
A signed copy of your child's immunizations will be required prior to your child's first visit or 1 week from registration.
We take special care to provide a safe, clean environment for your children. Our staff clean and disinfect the surfaces in our facility throughout the day. We are committed to limiting the spread of sicknes. For the protection of our preschoolers, we ask that parents adhere to these guidelines when determining if you should bring your child to Tinky Pooh's Playhouse.
A well child has:
If a child has any of the above symptoms, or if you are in doubt, please stay home and give us a call. If a child develops any of these symptoms while in our care, the parent will be asked to promptly pick them up from our care.
Please call us with any questions or concerns regarding your child.
Drop-in/short- term child care is defined by law in G.S. 110-86(2)(d)(d1) as a child care arrangement where care is provided while parents partcipate in activities that are not employment related, and where the parents are on the premises or otherwise easily accessible.
*All children must be between the ages of 10 months old to 10 years of age.
*We do occasionally have openings for newborns.
Please Bring:
*Personal Sippy Cup (labeled with name)
*Diapers/Pull-Ups/Wipes
*Change of clothes (for accidents and spills)
*Please have children wear socks (shoes are removed at drop-off)
Additional Fees

$1.00 per diaper change, $1.25 per pull up will be charged if there is none provided by parent for your child.
* At Tinky Pooh's Playhouse we take great pride in providing a clean environment for your child. Therefore we sanitize toys and play areas throughout the day.
PEANUT FREE FACILITY!!!
*We currently offer nutritious snacks. You are welcome to bring a bag lunch for your child or lunch can be provided for an additional cost of $5 during their stay.
*Cubbies are provided for children's personal belongings such as shoes, diapers, and/or change of clothing.
*All staff members are Vetted, CPR and First Aid certified experienced in Childcare and trained to handle emergencies.
*We encourage positive behavior and will redirect children when needed. If undesired behaviors persist we will contact parents to come pick up their child/ children.
